Notes: Gallery August West is excited to present this original first-printing poster promoting The Doors’ first appearance at the Fillmore Auditorium in January 1967 - a landmark moment in San Francisco’s psychedelic rock era. Original BG-44 posters are increasingly difficult to locate, particularly in strong condition, and remain highly desirable among collectors of classic psychedelic concert art. Notably, the original printings were produced on multiple paper stocks, resulting in noticeable variation among surviving examples.
