Notes: Gallery August West is excited to present this original first-printing poster promoting three February 1967 Jefferson Airplane and Quicksilver Messenger Service shows at the Fillmore. The first printing of this poster came in four types with Type 3 being the most common. The piece being offered here represents the extremely rare Type 4 printing, distinctive from the other versions by the green imprinting and dot screen lettering. Additionally, this piece was signed in pencil by the artist, Wes Wilson. Both the poster itself and the signature have been authenticated and graded by CGC. The piece was left inside the CGC tamper-evident archival sleeve when framed to maintain the added value of a CGC evaluation. The archival sleeve is not visible inside the frame. Absolutely stunning visual against the bone white double mat.
